Concept
As part of our endeavours to increase the quality and efficiency of our daily customer support, the Product Division of Transaxiom Group has developed a new concept, Cargo Connect. Our main objective is to provide our customers with the best possible on-line assistance, support, and product information.

The Cargo Connect concept covers the following:
    Helpdesk management
    Knowledge management
    Product management
    Change management

Technical Overview
Cargo Connect is based on Transaxiom Group Intel/Domino Internet Server and Business Suite from IT-Factory*. Access to the server is controlled by a Firewall. Use of Cargo Connect facilities requires an Internet connection, Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 (or later) and registered UserID and password. Only registered customers can access Cargo Connect. Help Desk Management
Transaxiom Group helpdesk is developed in Lotus Notes and includes a number of advanced and powerful functions. The new helpdesk allows our customers to survey and give priority to support requests, thereby putting the customer in control of the process. Customers can submit new support requests and update existing ones, just as the new Cargo Connect offers a powerful tool for monitoring support requests.

Knowledge Management
Frequently asked questions are transferred to the Customer Knowledge database. This database is accessible on-line, making the information available to all registered customers. Using this tool will in many cases solve the problem without submitting an actual request, providing a powerful on-line resource

Product Management
Transaxiom Group Product management is responsible for adding new features and improving the existing functionality of Transaxiom Group products. Adjustments are made on the basis of market demands in close cooperation with our customers. It is of great importance that our customers have information about existing plans for future versions and therefore one of the main objectives of Cargo Connect is to provide information on future development to axsFreight. This information is available in the shape of White Papers, Product Plans and Product Information.

Change Management
Transaxiom Group Change management tool, "TurnOver", provides detailed information on new releases. In Cargo Connect, customers are able to search for, display, and print release information, and also download zip-files containing the information required. Our customers can destribute the material in which ever format they prefer.
Also, minor program corrections may be downloaded directly via Cargo Connect.

Download Program Corrections (PTF)
Our objective is to offer Transaxiom Group customers to download minor program corrections via Cargo Connect. Naturally it can only be independent corrections that do not affect many other functions and/or the database.
